Volvo Cars USA, LLC (Volvo) has an ongoing long-lasting commitment to the environment, and to improve the quality and performance of our vehicles. To meet federal and state emission requirements, Volvo periodically is required to test the emissions performance of our customer vehicles, which have been driven for an extended period of time. Our records indicate that you own a vehicle that may assist us in this important engineering evaluation program. Volvo has engaged Energy Environmental Analytics to complete testing for this program at their facilities in Morgantown, WV.
The purpose of this program is to evaluate the emission system operation. Your vehicle will be tested indoors on a dynamometer (treadmill-like device) and driven simulating normal driving conditions. Rest assured, only limited mileage will be placed on your vehicle, and your vehicle will be treated with the utmost of care. Please note that participation in the program is completely voluntary. The normal program length is 10-15 working days, however, on occasion, it may extend longer.
