Energy Environmental Analytics was founded in 2022 as the acquisition of West Virginia University’s Center for Alternative Fuels Engines and Emissions (CAFFE). Strategic investment by E2A’s new ownership and commitment to building off the world-renowned reputation of its predecessor positions E2A to continue to be a market leader in advanced engine testing, research, and development.
E2A’s state-of-the-art laboratory performs leading-edge engine testing and analysis across both light and heavy-duty platforms. Our past programs have covered a broad spectrum of emissions testing: heavy-duty on-highway, non-road applications, spark-ignited engines, locomotive, marine, and alternatively fueled engines. Capable of testing in conformance with applicable EPA, CARB, EURO and other requirements, E2A prides itself on delivering accurate emissions results from nearly any combustion source.
